Save your self (or at least your phone). It's too late for me!

Dropped my phone the other day while hiking.  Case saved the screen but the phone bounces and as luck would have it, it cracked the lens cover over the camera lens.  Figuring it was toast I ordered a new phone.  Ironically, T-Mobile said I still owed $26 on the old phone and offered me $0 if I traded it in.  Also threaten not to send me $0 if they did not receive the old phone.  I called their bluff.  

Moments after I pulled the trigger on a Pixel 8a, I decided to see how much it would cost to fix the old phone.  To my surprise the kit to fix a cracked lens cover costs less than $10.00.  Yep, less that a carton of eggs.  Not that hard to fix either.  The enclosed instructions were a waste but a couple of YouTube videos later, it was fix and resting quietly in my top drawer.   

Anyway, if your broken on your phone and you're not ready to buy something new, see if it can be fixed.  Too late for me.
