Ray Miller Trail

This one is a few miles south of  Mugu Rock off Highway 1 in Point Mugu State Park.  If you're cheap or the park isn't open you can park outside the gate, just be mindful of the no parking signs.  Considered a moderate hike it is a well traveled trail with hikers, runner, and outdoorsy types.  The 2.7 mile trail "ends" at a fire road but you can make it a much longer hike if you want.

The trail head start just across the parking lot.  Be warned that the scenery isn't always  this lust.  California is after all a desert.  Today was sunny and mild, perfect weather for hiking.

A view of the Pacific Ocean from about 1 mile up.  On a clear day you can see The Chanel Islands.
